In the Beginning

As I enter this journey of blogging, let's define what we will discuss and blog about. This site will attempt to display my view of this world. It will serve as memoirs of the circumstances that shaped my views, as well as my thoughts on worldly matters. I will attempt to add value in all of my posts, with jewels of wisdom that I have gained from my study of history, religion, economics and culture. I encourage others who are reading this to share their thoughts with me. If possible, we should gain from discussion and seek to understand.

This photo of me is from my time in South Africa. It is taken from Nelson Mandela's prison on Robben Island. Mr. Mandela spent 27 years of his life here for fighting the apartheid regime. The significance of this picture is to convey my belief that we all are trapped in our prisons. These prisons may be mental, economical, social, spiritual or whatever the case. Our mission should be to overcome these circumstances as Mr. Mandela did and move on to our freedom. The road is not easy, nor is the race to the swift, however, we must continue to develop. Here's to the Beginning, the Genesis of my blogging about my hustle and times...
