Summertime...and the living is easy

Ella Fitzgerald sang of "Autumn in New York" seeming so inviting. I've always enjoyed winter's in Nashville, when the snow falls, but the forecast isn't unbearable. The best place for Spring is Houston, before it gets hot (some may disagree, but I have memories to reinforce). But when the fish are jumping and the cotton is high, Chicago might have the trophy.

I've been in the city for since July 8th (the day after the day I've blogged would always come). Since then, it's been a great experience. I've met some interesting people, and gained some great experience professionally. Always a good combination.

Just wanted to capture the spirit of the moment briefly. It's been busy on top of all of my socializing. And keeping the balance is difficult. Just back from a run this morning. Met with an interesting young lady last night. Looking forward to finishing a case I'm working on, Labor Day weekend, culminating in museum visits, picnics in parks, and dinner parties. It's like Daddy being rich and Momma being good looking...
